Ingredients

1 cup fresh organic garlic cloves, peeled

1 cup fresh ginger root, sliced into rounds

2 whole organic lemons, thoroughly washed and sliced

2 whole cinnamon sticks, broken in half

1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns (optional)

2 cups raw unpasteurized honey, or enough to completely submerge the ingredients

Instructions

Gather all ingredients and ensure your workspace, utensils, and jar are clean and completely dry.

Gently crush the garlic cloves using the flat side of a knife.

Wash the ginger thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds.

Wash the lemons well, slice them into thin wheels, and remove any seeds.

Layer the garlic, ginger, lemon slices, and cinnamon sticks inside a sterilized glass jar.

Add the optional black peppercorns.

Slowly pour the raw honey over the ingredients until everything is completely covered.

Use a clean spoon to remove trapped air bubbles.

Seal the jar tightly with a lid.

Store in a cool, dark place.
